My cousin once confided in me that she KNEW she was going to die at the age of twenty three. I could tell by her certainty and her fear that she truly believed this. I even started to wonder about it myself.
She is now 47, and I have never asked her about her premonitions and dreams. That is very interesting, because she is the only one who I have met that admits to this, but it was very strong for her. She even made decisions near her 23rd birthday that I think were affected by this fear.

My pa was convinced he was going to die at age 54 - he lasted till his 70s.
Now my step mom got an eery feeling that he was going to pass on a few weeks before.
And my step-brother also got the feeling he was going to pass on .. "soon"
The night before I had a bad unique feeling about things .. and then when I tried to call home at 2pm the next day ..that was really quite near when my father was having trouble.
If he had a premonition, he did not let on.

Not me. But I can tell you that two men that I knew who died (different times). Each one was prepared for death. There were things that each one did to tie up loose ends. It was like they knew it was coming, and were able to say goodbyes.
This I can tell you though. The bible says that destruction comes suddenly for the wicked. This is not a promise, but it infers that there is no forewarning. A lady's son at church was walking home a few months back and a gang member came up to him and shot him with no warning at all. That night he was dead.
So it is different for everyone. If I were you, I'd spend some time thinking about death and consider what the bible says, because tomorrow is guaranteed to no man.

I never thought I would make it past 17, I am now 24...I thought that i was in hell when I was a teenager and didnt expect to ever get out...but then I realized what life really was....now I do not fear death because I know all it is is a change from one plane of existence to another....I have nothing to fear, so why be afraid? There is no all knowing creator just waiting for me to condemn me for my sins....that I know for a fact :)

Everyday I think could be my last day, so when I go to bed at night, I make sure to ask God to take me to heaven if I die i my sleep.

That's not something I think about. I enjoy my life and live everyday as though it were my last. It's the only life we have.
