As far as whether or not you're legally obligated to file... it depends on how much you made. Check a tax pamphlet to see what the amt is this year. I'd file even if you don't have to though as you'll probably get back any money that was taken out. It only takes a few minutes to fill out a 1040-EZ.

If you're a single filer you must file a return if your total income is more than $8,450 for 2006. If your income was less than that, you must file to get a refund of any income taxes that were withheld.

Do you mean for tax purposes? If you earned over $700, yes, you do. And you should receive your W-2 by the end of the month.

Yes, because in those 2 months you earned money and paid into federal taxes, I assume.
