My guys love Zupreem. They are both pretty finicky, and I've tried just about everything. Zupreem, the colored fruit mix is the one they seem to like the best. I get a medium sized bag for 10 dollars at our pet store.
It smells really good too. When you open it, I swear it smells like a strong Trix cereal. LOL
I also mix in nuts still in the shell, some minor seed if I'm feeling generous, and of course they eat whatever we're having too.
I've found that paying online doesn't actually save me any money, and I can't seem to find a freshness guarantee.

Firestarter and Birdman both gave great suggestions. If it is possible, you should make sure to feed a pellet diet. For years, I thought pellets were too expensive and also that most of my parrots were bought already "seed junkies". But through patience and diligence, I have converted all my parrots(about 30) to pellets. I personally use Dr. D's pellets because you do not need to prepare all those fruits, veggies, treats or anything. This pellet has everything in it to sustain your parrots nutrition. Use the fruits and veggies as a treat. Also has the correct amount of calcium especially for African greys. You can order direct online from http://www.avi-sci.com. They are great company to deal with as well. Nice thing about this pellet....no waste! They will eat the powder that is left after eating the pellet! No waste means the more cost effective it is! Hope this helps!

There are a few diets that are very good. Go with a good pellet food add 10% fruits and veggies.and 10% fresh fruits and veggies. There is no standard for birds yet, but an all seed diet does lead to obesity due to their fat content. No avocados because they contain persin which is toxic to birds. No chocolate because it contains theobromine that is related to caffeine and is an alkaloid that cannot be metabolized. The makers of Zupreem pellets was developed by the guy who designed Science Diet for dogs and cats. It is extruded using heat. Roudybush is another and is cold pressed with the potential for bacterial contamination so store it in the fridge. It's fresher. Roudybush.com will give you a free sample by calling their toll free number and asking for it.The choice is yours. There are others. When using a pellet formula, bird formulas are not necessary because they are fortified. Cooked beans, rice and whole wheat pasta are healthy. Replace an all seed diet with pellets by 1/4 weekly. This makes conversion easier.Have fun and learn as much as you can. There are a lot of sites to go to. Just put African Grey Parrot in your search engine. Have a tweet year.

I personally prefer the Kaytee Fiesta for Amazons and Greys. I mix it 50/50 with Zupreem fruit flavored pellets, and have been using it for foods. My parrots get a big helping of anything I'm eating and all parrots love people food. They eat at the table with me. You can buy on-line at Petsmart.com, or Petco.com, but the shipping is fairly high(I think).. Also you can do a search for parrot supplies, and see what else you can find. Your local petstore is usually the best deal!! Birdman

there is no such element as a authentic looking parrot. Even budgies are extreme priced once you upload up the price of nutrition, the cage, toys, etc. And sorry to burst your bubble, yet lovebirds are parrots. An African gray is extremely extreme priced and then including interior the price of a cage, nutrition, and toys, plus vet charges if something is going incorrect, you're searching at spending properly over $a million,000 (US) basically interior the starting up. And $a million,000 in US is more effective than one hundred pounds so i imagine you're out of success even as it includes getting a parrot or very virtually any animal. try a goldfish or a hamster. Parrots are a good number of work and in case you imagine you'll get an inexpensive parrot, you obviously do no longer understand virtually adequate about them.
