Hee hee... the dog in the avatar isn't the Doxie.The avatar dog is a lab. She still looks scary tho.

my standard dachshund is 20lbs. the vet said that was the perfect weight for this dog. he has a big head and broad chest, very short legs and is all muscle- not very fat. the vet said he was a perfect look for this breed.
