What's more important: inner beauty or outer beauty? And why?

Inner, obviously. But outer is more valued. If you've got model looks but you're a straight up a*shole, then no one will like you. If you're not so good looking but have a great personality, then people will still like you.

Inner beauty is with us throughout our entire lives. Outer beauty will fade with time in each and every one of us on this earth. So I suppose my answer would be inner beauty is far more important than the exterior shell.

Long term? Inner beauty. Who wants to be with someone who's great looking but mean, self centered, etc.?
Short term? Outer beauty. Let's face it... we, as a society, are very shallow. If you're in a bar, and there are 2 people next to you, which are you more likely to approach? The good looking one or the ugly one?

Inner beauty is most important in the long run of life.
That is not to discount the allure of outer beauty to initially attract the individual.
Thankfully, outer beauty is different to all as to what they are initailly attracted to.
Inner beauty tends to the same and wanted by all.

sorry but that should not even be a question! inner-beauty is of course more important..if you are talking about a relationship there should be some pshyical attraction but like in mine he grew on me because at first i fell in love with his humor and intrest in me and his looks followed. if in general now a days its outer kind of because people are so steriotypical but alawys focus on the inner before outer

the outer beauty only last for a period of time while inner beauty last a life time dear.
Inner beauty will make people treasure and remember while outer beauty will chance in a heart beat.........for ex: an accident, a scar and.....

In today's world that is the ultimate question. With so many magazines, commercials, etc. we have lost track of what is really important. There is no way that I find a person attractive if their personality sucks. I don't care if you're an "Andonis" or "Aphrodieti" if you can't deliver from the inside, then I would rather sit and talk to a toad that made me smile, feel good about myself, and laugh.
