ive been usin the pro activ system since jan 18th and recently ive been having a majr breakout, wat is causing this because my skin looks awful, i did use the 2nd step (tht light blue bottle) with just my hand and not with the cotton ball but i dont think tht has much affect which would make it rly worse. so any ideas? i thought by a week it be alil betta if not the same, not alot worse, any answers?

It usually takes about a month for it to fully kick it. Just hang in there.

I use it and it seems to get worse before it gets better, just keep using it but if your going to use the 2nd bottle use a cotton ball, you have oils on your hands that can clog your pores. The only one I used was the face wash because the rest of it seemed to make my face oily and breakout. You could try just using the face wash.

proactiv doesn't work for everyone. I wash my face with clearasil or something like that and use astringent.....then I use the proactiv repair lotion and put moisturizer on last.....I do it twice aday and I have cleared up...I saw a change within a week and now I only get little breakouts around my period.

yeah, that happens to me too when i use proactive. i have heard that since you are using it so much, that it gets in ur system and stops working. soo u have to use it for a while and then stop and use something else and then you can go back to the proactive and then it starts to work again.
