I don't think there is any particular reason - at least none that I have heard of. My guess, is that they are just accident prone. I hope this is the reason. I hope we haven't become so degenerate as a society that bruises on the shins are the new status symbol. I get bruises on my legs all the time, but it is because I bruise easily and tend to be a little accident prone. It's not going to stop me from the comfort of wearing shorts out.

I bruise very easily. However, this is exactly why I tend not to wear shorts in public. Every time I run into an end table or chair, I end up with a huge, nasty bruise on me. Personally, I don't find it attractice at all.

To be comfortable? If I had a bruise on my shin, and it was hot outside, I would worry about it at first, but then I'd be like f*** it, I'm wearing shorts...

They want guys to look at their legs. You see it worked.

What catches your attention. A brand new 2007 car driving by you or a 2007 car driving by you with a missing door or huge dent ?

They are just waiting for Prince Charming to come by and give them a bandaid.

maybe because girls can get bruises too just like anyone else. And they dont really care if they have bruises or not they just feel like wearing shorts.

DONT ASK!!
When I did have bruises on my legs, I didn't wear short. But I used some vanishing cream to make them go away, then I wore my shorts.
I guess they don't care if anyone sees them.

maybe they play volleyball or lacrosse or something. for some reason shorts are back in. ive seen chics that wear shorts so revealing theyre booties slip out. for guys, its a good thing lol.

anyway, most girls think bruises are gross.

Well maybe because the bruises rubbing on jeans might hurt. And maybe they do that so the guys will see them and go over and tell them . " Want me to kiss it to make it feel better". Do the math
