My 4 yr old daughter was watching me cut my son's hair. It was falling onto his neck and back as she sat there watching and pretty soon she said "Bubby (nickname) looks like Daddy". I said, "No, I'm not cutting his hair that short". She then said "No I mean he has a hairy back like Daddy". LMAO.

Insightful, no, funny, yes!

This actually happened a couple years ago but Ill never forget it. It was shortly after 9/11. My daughter (who was 4 at the time) and I were in the car leaving a memorial service for a friend of mine's son who was a firefighter in NY city and was killed when the buildings collapsed. At that time, everyone had American Flags everywhere - on car windows, on buildings, in front of homes and all the store signs said "Glod Bless America". A patriotic song came on the radio and after it was finished she asked: Is everyone suddenly proud to be Americian because "Kyle" died? It made me realize that until 9/11, most people didnt own an American Flag or would've scared to put "God Bless America" on their billboards. And years later, we are in the place we were before 9/11.

My 3 year old daughter asked, "Mom where do God live." And I told here he's everywhere, that didn't answer and I told her to ask my husband when he get home. She is not 4 years old and she commented on my cooking the other day that was soo sweet of her. She said, "mom your soup is delicous, I like your cooking." I was so touched, sniffle. She finished it with out me fussing her.
