So here's the deal. We're all in high school and I have a very tight group of friends. My group represents the upper portion of my class in terms of inteligence (not to sound cocky but we're sort of the "nerds") and we make up the student government. To my utter surprise I learned that on of my close friends had feelings for another of our friends (I didn't believe it at first). And they are actually going out. But the thing is that i am only one of about five people that know this. They don't want anyone to know because her parents are traditional asian parents and are strictly against high school relationships. Last night, i was utterly surpirsed when he decied to tell me about this. And i figured that the only reason he is telling me this is so that he can get help to make sure how his realtionship can last. He said he really enjoys the way its going right now. Do you have any suggestions for their situation?

ENJOY EACH OTHER. IT MAY CAUSE SOME AGGRAVATION HAVING TO BE SO SECRETIVE ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP IT BETTER BE WORTH THE RISK.

i utterly feel that they should keep going out if they really like eachother. Thats part of being a teen, doing that may not always be what you parents what. Sometimes those things turn out for the worst and sometimes for the best. So if they are as amart as you say they are, then they must be making the right desicion.

First of all if they asked you not to tell anyone dont tell anyone becoasue that would be breaking their trust but i dont think your planning on doing that. Also if they are happy with hiding it then they just need to be carful becoause unfourtently if their parents find out then they could get in alot of trouble. I would suggest for them takeing it slow and not to move to fast becoause that could give it away.

One suggestion: stop saying utterly. It's utterly pathetic. Expand your diction already. Another suggestion: Keep your nose out of other peoples business. Who cares if he asked you for help, let him live and learn on his own.

Just keep it a secret like they want it. It shouldn't really bother you that much and you cant really do much for them either, just dont talk about it and if someone ask you if they are going out just say "nope"...

go on dates in groups if possible...then you can say you're going " with friends" but its not as conspicuous...

ie., go to the movie theater with a group, but seperate from them and make out in the back ;)
