Maybe you'd like the Rose Gardens in Loose Park near the Plaza. I have seen it set up for a wedding and it looked lovely.

The Elms in Excelsior Springs is pretty, and there's the Botational ( I think I spelt that wrong) gardens, but I can't remember the name of them for the life of me. ( I wanna say Powell Gardens but I'm not sure if that's right or not).
