get closer to him. but not too fast, cuz then he might thing you are weird or something. get his phone number. email and stuff. start to talk to him.

where you trying to get? 4 months could be the start of the relationship. Do you have things in common? If not then it probably isnt working try doin activities together that you both like.

i had that problem last year, i did nothing and was shy back which i regret. so take a step like i should of and talk to him even more. start flirting..shy is cute so if you can get him to flirt back that is good =] i would keep it up and if he is SOO SHY that nothing works tell him how you feel about him. maybe he will think oh god she likes me? and hell b happy and maybe you can get him to open up more. ask him things about him and the key is to stay interested in him..show him you are interested in him

Maybe you should tell him more about your day or something minor about yourself that he could help you with. You must first open shells before you find a pearl (sorry just felt like saying something strange). I myself am normally shy but sometimes I open up or help people that look like they could use a friend or just someone to help solve their problems. Just try to be his friend, and maybe he will talk with you more, then you might try to pursue something further.

he's shy because a) he get's nervous around you b) he has low self-esteem. assuming that you're a girl, and that you like this guy, i would suggest asking him out, it should loosen him up.
