its safe, its free, and i have been using it every year, no problem. i like to stagger out one report every 4 months, so i can check it all year, if you get the report or order number and copy it, you can go to the dispute page and look at it again for any new info for up to 30 days afterwords too.

Yes, I've used the site and have had no problems. As I recall, when you go through this site, you're led to the main sites for each of the 3 major credit bureaus. This site was created after the US Gov't passed a law requiring each credit agency to allow each person at least one free credit report per year. This is the official site to get the free report.

They do let you look at it on line for 30 days. but it is the same report. You do not have to give them a credit card number. They offer other services where you can check it any time for a fee that they push hard to sell.
I got all three at the same time, retrospectively, I would have gotten just 1 that way you can go to the other ones later in the year to see any changes for free. They all had the exact same info and if there is an error it is very unlikely to be on just one.

I do not ignore that the regulation is they are meant to provide you a particular type of free comments, say each and every year. also using for a mastercard. when you're became down you may ask for a report from the agency that the mastercard agency makes use of. merely contact Esperian or another credit reporting agency for a free report.

It is a fine site. Go for it. Don't get involved in a company that charges you a monthly fee for your credit. That is BS. You are entitled to one free report per year. What you will have to pay for is your credit score.

AnnualCreditReport.com is the only government appoved website to get your free credit reports. You don't need a credit card nor do you have to sign up for credit monitoring services.
The site is secured by 128-bit encryption. A secured site starts with "HTTPS:"
