Or is it strictly science?

It's science, but one thing that needs to be made clear - the Earth's atmosphere is a VERY unpredictable animal. Very minute changes in the balance of our atmosphere can lead to very hard-to-anticipate results. That's why you can have predictions of emissions leading to both global warming and an ice age at the same time, as oxymoronic as it may sound.

Hm...that's a complex question.

It's a fact that the world is warming up. Anyone can look at the data and see it. Over the last century, it's gone up 0.8 degrees celcius.

The reasoning why is more a matter of faith. Some say it's the fault of humans and spitting nasty stuff into the atmosphere. Others say that the world is naturally warming up as part of a very, very long cycle in climate. Probably the answer lies somewhere between the two.

Interestingly enough, a "mini ice age" happens every 20,000 years, and we're due for one any time now. Some years ago, scientists were hoping that global warming might hold off this mini ice age and keep the world habitable. How times change.

Global warming is happening. The average temp. of the earth for each month for the past 10 years have been the highest averages on record. Why? Could be from the gases we put into the air. Could be from us destroying vegetation. Could be from a lot of factors and maybe all of them together. We know that the earth has gone through several ice ages (which were just cooler periods not sub zero has many believe) throughout history. The glaciers advance then retreat. They are retreating big time right now....could this be part of a natural cycle....Al Gore stood in Glacier National Park and point to the shrinking glaciers and said this is a tragedy and it is all mans fault....is it.....there is science to back up mans part and also natures part.....is it a new faith...yes.....

Global Warming is real, and happening right now. There will be a report released to the public on Feb 2 that will show that the crisis is happening and it's too late to do anything for the time being. We can prevent the worse from happening in another 20 years or so. It's time humans to adapt to a changing world.

Believe that the Global warming is the sign that this world is in the end times.

God our creator promised the believers that we will inherit the New Heavens and the new Earth.

The unbelievers will disappear with this used-up world that they worship. Believers believe in being Ressurected of Raptured from this dying world.

Whether global warming is occurring is hotly debated. The belief that humans are causing global warming is certainly not supported by science.

An old myth revamped. In the 70's I remember Scientists calling for a Global Freeze it was going to happen within the "next" 10 Years. Well........?

Now it is Global Warming...........

anthropological influence on global warming is MOST CERTAINLY a factor in any scientific findings

It has nothing to do with faith

It's a scientific reality that proponents are forced to defend from zealots who prefer to stick their heads in the sand while using and abusing the environment for their own personal gain, however NO amount of denial is going to make such a reality go away.

Just another theory that science is struggling with.
I don't see why all the confusion; mother earth has always recycled herself.
