You can go the museums, which are mostly open until 5 or 6 pm on Sundays. You can take a walk around Central Park or in the East & West Village. Then you can go to one of the 20,000 restaurants in the city and get some good food. Go to www.citysearch.com if you need some tips on places to go.

You can still walk around the hot spot tourist areas like Times Square and Central Park. The museums are also open until the afternoon. Personally, living in NYC, I would bring you to either the village or Chinatown. Try picking up The Village Voice. This free newspaper, which you can pick up on most streets for free, has an events listing for every day of the week. Good luck and enjoy NYC!
