First off, the son of perdition is the anti-christ, not Judas.

I think he may have gotten a bit of a raw deal. I don't think he did it for the money, I think he did it because he believed that Jesus would call the angels to save Him, and get rid of the Romans at the same time. Judas came from a rebellious group, whose main concern was getting rid of the Romans. I don't think it ever occurred to him that they'd actually kill Jesus, which is why he committed suicide when he found out.

As for heaven, we don't know anyone's heart truly, so that's something only God and Christ know. That's the reason none of us are the judge.

Jesus said concerning Judas, that it would be better for that man if he had never been born. He is referred to as the "son of perdition", or, son of destruction. I think from that it is pretty clear he is not in heaven. How you conclude that he got a "raw deal" is beyond me. He betrayed his trusted friend, the Lord Jesus Christ and delivered him to be crucified. It wasn't Judas who got the "raw deal".

Ithink many of us secretly feel some kind of sympathy for Judas, maybe because his fate scares us,but there is so much rubbish talked about Judas and his betrayel of Christ, some liberals suggest that God willed him to do it,this is wrong and an offence against God.
Jesus said` Father I pray for these (the Apostles) and goes on to say, except him who Chose to be lost.
Judas was an Apostle who never accepted the divinity of Christ nor fully believed in the Messiahship of Christ either, and instead accepted 30 bits of silver instead.

No one knows for sure, but what Jesus said in John and what the Apostles said in Acts doesn't hold out much hope.

Jesus said, "I chose you twelve, didn't I? Yet one of you is a devil." (John 6:70)

And

"Then they prayed, "Lord, you know the hearts of all people. Show us which one of these two men you have chosen to serve in this office of apostle, from which Judas fell away to go to his own place." (Acts 1:24-25)

As to the "raw deal" part of your question, he betrayed Christ. Should he be rewarded?

Guess what! He would of gone to heaven, and all he had to do
was ask forgiveness. He took his own life that is called suicide.
God would have forgiven him in a heart beat but he did not ask for
it. So yes he is or will be in hell. On the other hand, Peter who
denied Jesus 3 times cried bitterly and asked forgiveness and God forgave him and he became a great preacher and minister of the word and yes he is in heaven.

Judas had full knowledge of what was going on.
He, being born a Jew, raised by Godly parents, chosen by Jehovah to serve him in a special way.
Judas let greed get in his way, causing his heart to become wicked.
That is why the scriptures tell us to beware that anyone of us can develop a wicked heart.

Judas committed suicide, which is MURDER of oneself.
He will be judged in the last day just like everyone else.

Jesus said he would have been better off never being born, so apparently he didn't go to heaven.

I believe he did not.

Why do you think he got a raw deal?
