If you do a Q&A acne search on Answers you will find many home remedies that did not work or made it worse.
This is tried and tested natural, safe and low cost, effective way to rid yourself of the problem. It's an answer that I gave a short time ago and Asker responded that treatment was working after a few days(see my profile - BEST ANSWER )
To regain a totally blemish free healthy skin the best way is using an organic oil, or any natural oil and massage face with it using quite a strong, vigorous motion - that part is important for treatment to work - once a day (best at night as will make face flushed). You will find you can make it more vigorous as you progress. Skin is always renewing, the vigorous massaging invigorates skin and hastens a spot and scar free new skin to emerge overtime. Initially, the skin has to adjust and if soreness or other reactions happen - the skin might expel poisons that need to be expelled - then stop and resume when you can. You have to find the pace that works for you - it's different for every person. Stick with it & in a week or so you will see an improvement and, if you stick with it, overtime you will have a completely spot and scar, blemish free, healthy vibrant skin. Permanently rids skin of pimples and all other kinds of skin problems(even oily skin). You will not need any other treatment ever again.
Also if you have pimple scars use contents of Vitamin E CAPSULES - apply directly to scars. I know for a fact that when someone has face surgery or a face lift doctors tell patients to do precisely this to hasten healing and minimize scarring.

i recently went to a dermatoglogist with this problem, there is no proven home remedy and no matter what food you avoid eating, your acne isnt going to stop, just do hydrate yourself, and wash ur face in the morning and at night with a dermatologic soap, non-scented, and perferably made for your skin type, none of that clearskin, neutrogena crap works, neither does proactive, so maybe save up a little money a make a visit to the doctor, theyll be glad to help u out....

My brother washed his face every night and then rubbed with a cotton swab with witch hazel on it. It kept his skin clear....
