Either are great vehicles. Only difference is your preference of which grille and headlights you like. Power, capabilities and ride are identical.

Same truck other than badges, grill and a few pretty things. The Sierra will cost a bit more, but will be worth a bit more later, so whichever you like the best is the one for you. The cost difference on a new one is only a couple hundred dollars.

I am not sure about new trucks, but I own an 84 chevy and my brother owns an 84 GMC, his is a little nicer, a little better, a little heavier, not sure how or why, with almost every part on the truck interchangeable, but it is!!

Absolutely no difference except some of the trim items like grilles and wheel caps and the like.

they are both pretty much the same truck, it depends if you want your truck too say gmc or chevy on the tailgate.
