A latte is a shot of espresso and steamed milk. A Cafe Mocha is espresso, shot of chocolate syrup and steamed milk. Hot chocolate does not contain espresso....

Hot chocolate is a chocolate powder and steamed milk..
Latte is a shot of espresso and steamed milk serve in latte glass.. Compared to other type of coffee, its got more milk.. and you can layer it for good presentation..(dont put more froth)

Well : according to "Hot Chocolate " it's instant "Coco powder"
made with warm water and " Latte " an flavored coffee !

They are nothing alike. Hot Chocolate is cream with cocao powder. Latte is espresso with steamed/frothed milk ladeled over the top.
