When my friend is driving from point a to b, suddenly she finds herself at another destination. That is not where she was planning to go to begin with. Would this have anything to do with menopause? Stroke warnings??

It would definitely concern me if this were my friend. Something is happening. There is such a thing as TIAs...Trans Ischemic Attacks...or small strokes. If she loses time or her memory is blank on certain things, this should be investigated right away. Have her make an appt with her doctor...she needs help....and maybe shouldn't be driving. SHe could conceivably cause an accident, hurting herslf and others.

Could be one of several things. Dangerous, for sure. Don't ride with her and encourage her to go to doctor. If she's on meds and taking too many, she needs to make some changes.

This condition sounds like what's called a "fugue state" and she should see her doctor immediately.

Moderation is key.
