I am sick and tired of some of these Christians posting Bible verses, prayers, religious propaganda, attacking other religions, condemning non-believers to hell, and so on. I have never seen any religion or even atheists attack as much or as carelessly as you do.
I see you as an annoying cockroach infestation that carry a deadly plague. Before you can even think of non-believers respecting you answers and questions, you must first show us respect by leaving us alone.
I am ashamed of once being called a Christian. Your ignorance, intolerance, and hypocrisy are an embarrassment to all religious people and the few good Christians who keep their nose out of other peoples business (for those that do, thank you and I respect you for it).

The attacks my friends and I have faced from my once "brothers and sisters in Christ" have made this personal. Your Bible condemning us non-believers to hell made this personal. Your ignorance and straight up disrespect for other religions has made this personal.
However, since I was once one of you I am able to see through the lies. I give all the evangelicals and fundamentalists credit for making me who I am today. I commit my life to exposing your ways and give my “testimony” to those who consider joining your cult in hope that they will think twice before accepting Jesus. Right now I am limited as to how many people I can talk with about this but with my dream to become a radio personality and/or music producer that will all change. Even if you could convince me there was a hell, I would much rather go there with the people who have the brain to think outside the box than in heaven with you and your selfish God. One day you will wish I was still on your side.

With this I do not represent any belief system. I represent myself and only myself.

ROBIN: Dark Hollow,
“If you don't like what we put on this site, then you should go to a different category. This site is for spirituality and religion.”
-You do not own this FORUM lady and I will never leave. That is my whole point. I believe in a god, just not yours and I DON’T like being attacked.
“You cannot make us stop praying for you, or loving you, for we, as christians are doing what Christ has commanded us to do.”
-So you only do it because you were commanded to? Wow. I do things for people (and yes I am actually a nice person) because I want to. And you are right I can’t stop you. But the fact you go ahead and do it when I ask you not to is not good. That is force.

“I am sorry that you do not choose to accept that, however that does not change my duty to my savior. This is a land of freedom, and if you think that you can tell us what we as christians can do, then you need to think again.”
-I am not telling you what you can do. I am asking you NOT to pray for me and give me Bible verses etc. I don’t want them. If you won’t respect my wishes then why should I respect yours?

“If I am an annoying cockroach then so be it. I believe that if you think that way, then you are on the wrong category.”
-The R&S does not belong to Christians or anyone. Regardless who does the reporting. Just you saying that means I should stay.

“As a Christian, I will be judged if I don't do what he commands me to, and you my friend will be judged by wether or not you believe in him when we stand before him in final judgement and wether or not either of our names are written in the Lambs Book of Life. When Christ comes back, everyone will declare him to be Lord of Lords and King of Kings, wether they are Christians or not.”
No. I don’t think so.

It is nobody's right to condemn anyone to hell. A true Christian should no better and realize it's not their place to judge.

You are very right. People need to respect others regardless of what they believe in or don't believe in.

Everyone has their freedom to choose and what they choose is their business. :)

Dear Dark Hollow-

I find a bit of contradiction here, from your "about me":
" I respect all religions and people that do not condemn other peoples beliefs"

After that you say: (this is the contradiction)

"No matter what religion you are or even if you do not have one, I will do whatever I can to defend your beliefs against Christians. Whoever you are I wish you the best!"

It seems like the only politically correct form of bigotry these days is Christian bashing, but I may be wrong.

Anyway - I wish you the best too. I don't think your issue is with Christians, I think it is with God. He is the one who made the rules that Christians are too live by.

Take care- Redeemed

Since Christians hate love and love hate, they think "You're a worthless piece of crap that fully deserves an eternity of incomprehensibly horrible agony and pain" is a loving thing to say to someone.

Besides God will have the final say, not you. God Bless You.

I have to agree.

I have no problem with Christians asking questions here, but I find some Christians post 'loaded' questions that are nothing more than cheap attempts at proselytizing.

Yahoo Answers is for questions. Yahoo Answers is not for advertisements. If 'questions' plugging websites get axed by Yahoo, why wouldn't a question blatantly plugging a religion also get axed?

Just out of curiosity; if we offend your sensibilities to such a degree why are you here in Y/A, Religion and Spirituality?

But then it's your God given right to make a choice and you've apparently made yours.

Good luck on your mission, personally I think your going to need it.

I see your hurting, I'm sorry.

With all due respect, you're posting in a religion section. Please consider a different forum. You may find people who are more like you in action and thought.

If you decide to stay, I will be tolerant of you if you show me the same consideration.

I can understand that human mistakes have turned you against organized religion... but do yourself a favor and rethink your anger against God fearing people who only have your future interests at heart. If you believe in God and the Bible, remember that Noah, too, met with ridicule and scorn and anger when HE tried to save people who's destiny was eminent.

I agree with every word you've written. :)

Ignorance, intolerance and hypocrisy in the christian church are major reasons why I stopped believing.
