how long do you cook 3 potatoes in the microwave?
They are average size. Do I use high power or a different setting?

It depends on the size. I wrap a potato in wet paper towels and microwave on high about 3-4 minutes. Then turn it and microwave again another 3-4 minutes. Then I remove it and wrap it in foil and let it sit about 10 minutes. (longer doesn't hurt) That holds the heat in and allows it to continue cooking without getting all gross.

Depending on the size of potato and the power of the microwave about 4 to 6 minutes should do. Don't forget to pierce the skin with a fork or knife to stop it from exploding.

Each will take around 5 minutes, but just make sure to make holes with a fork all around the potato, then use saran wrap, make sure to wrap it a couple of times. Is better if you do them separate but you can do them all together also; so for 3 make it between 15 to 20 min. Make sure to check them at 15 min. and if they're not ready add the other 5 minutes.
Good luck!

You can use high power. Puncture the potatoes all over with a fork, wrap them in moistened paper towels, and put in the microwave for 8 minutes. If you are able to squeeze the potatoes easily, they're done, if not try another 3 to 4 minutes and continue until you can squeeze them easily.

Nine Minutes and thirty seconds on the general setting. Wrap them in plastic wrap. It really helps.
