It depends on the size. I wrap a potato in wet paper towels and microwave on high about 3-4 minutes. Then turn it and microwave again another 3-4 minutes. Then I remove it and wrap it in foil and let it sit about 10 minutes. (longer doesn't hurt) That holds the heat in and allows it to continue cooking without getting all gross.

Depending on the size of potato and the power of the microwave about 4 to 6 minutes should do. Don't forget to pierce the skin with a fork or knife to stop it from exploding.

Each will take around 5 minutes, but just make sure to make holes with a fork all around the potato, then use saran wrap, make sure to wrap it a couple of times.
