By the way, my sister is not married yet but is over the age of 21..we have filed her petition on 2005..when exactly will it get approved??..and its only the form...im not asking for the visa..please help me.

Depends on where you filed it. Go to this link:

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp?

Choose the processing center/district office you are working with, and go to it. You'll see how far along they are in the process. I just checked, the CA office is working on January 2003....

IT doesn't matter if your sister is married or not, or what her age is. But remember, you can only file for her if you are a US citizen. In another question, you said you are not one.

If you are a citizen, the petition will still take months to be approved.

go to www.uscis.gov and the bottom of the page it says see ur from or somethin like that and put in ur code

Your looking at about 20 or more years, it seem they dont want people from the Philipines here.
