I will teach my future children that sex is a beautiful thing, but only when done with the right person at the right time. I don't want them to think that sex is "bad", it's just an intimate thing, and should be valued. Also, that they can come to me with any questions, and if they need guidance, I will be here for them no matter what.

I would probably tell them that sex is a nice passionate thing, but it should be with some one your TRUELY love. Don't be blind sighted by the short, loveless relationships. I would also enforce the possible consiquences of having sex, becoming pregnant and STD's and what not.
I think the easiest thing for you to do, is to just be truthful. Don't sugar coat anything, asnwer what ever questions they may have to the best of your abilities. This way it is less compicated and you don't have to stress over it. In reallity there is no "best way" to tell your child about sex. The truth is the best way to go.

To wait until they are married or at least an adult. To talk to you openly because no matter what you love them and just want to make sure they are safe. Depending on the age, discussion of diseases (you can find pictures of many STDs) and safer sex. Let them know what you feel and why. I would also hear their opinions and have an open dialogue. Let them know sex is a wonderful thing with handled morally and appropriately.

Never be afraid to talk to your child about sex and learn the proper terminogy. Here are some good sites that will help you in your quest. I hope you will take time to read them it is all good information.
Good Luck...and teach your children properly...don't let them learn on the street corner or in harmful sex ed classes.

First, wait to have sex until you a truly in love. When you young, a lot of people confuse love with lust. If you are going to have sex, do it safe. First, let take you to my ob/gyn and get on birth control pill. Second, never have sex with out a condom, for ST D's. Also use a spermicide. If you feel you are old enough to have sex, you are old enough to be safe.\
I will than say, wait until you are old enough to deal with anything that goes with sex
Good luck

Do what my mother did to my brother and me. Get up to highway speeds and turn to your child and say,
"Sex is good. Sex is great. Your father and I do it all the time."
Nothing quite horrifies two boys who are 11 and 13 like that.
