i heard from three people that there is a ghost at the store where i work.. one coworker said they heard racks jiggling when no one else was around ...ooo

Yes:
Ghost is another word for Demon or wicked spirit. Jesus believed in wicked spirits and expelled many from people in his ministry. Its best not to get involved in any way with them.
One type of bait used by the demons is divination. What is divination? It is an attempt to find out about the future or about something unknown. Some forms of divination are astrology, the use of tarot cards, crystal gazing, palmistry, and the search for mysterious omens, or signs, in dreams. Although many people think that practicing divination is harmless, the Bible shows that fortune-tellers and wicked spirits work together. For instance, Acts 16:16-18 mentions “a demon of divination” that enabled a girl to practice “the art of prediction.” But she lost this ability when the demon was cast out of her.

Another way that the demons mislead people is by encouraging them to inquire of the dead. People grieving over the death of a loved one are often deceived by wrong ideas about those who have died. A spirit medium may give special information or may speak in a voice that seems to be that of a dead person. As a result, many people become convinced that the dead are really alive and that contacting them will help the living to endure their grief. But any such “comfort” is really false as well as dangerous. Why? Because the demons can imitate the voice of a dead person and give a spirit medium information about the one who died. (1 Samuel 28:3-19) The dead have ceased to exist. See Psalms 146:4 So “anyone who inquires of the dead” has been misled by wicked spirits and is acting contrary to the will of God. (Deuteronomy 18:10, 11; Isaiah 8:19) Therefore, be careful to reject this dangerous bait used by the demons.

Absolutely. There is a spirit world and ghosts are part of it. Sometimes they can be seen and sometimes their presence is felt. Some people hear ghosts when they record with really good equipment. Scientifically, paranormal activity has been explored for at least 25 years now. You can even get a degree in the paranormal from good colleges. Ghosts? Yeah!

it may be two different things

the energy of those around you ... sometimes we have excess energy due to stress and most commonly hormone changes ( especially in young females ) that can affect the surroundings etc

or the typical ghost energy which is just a memory lying in that area from someone who frequented it in the past ... nothing more than lingering energy that will eventually play out with new memories being imprinted

my guess is that it is the first one of these as ghosts cant move things but human energy is strong enough to do so

There is no such thing as ghosts. The Bible says that when Christians are absent from the body, they are present with the Lord. Non-believers are in Hades awaiting judgment, and eternity in Hell. What is around is demons trying to deceive people.

I believe in them because I grew up in a haunted house and have seen a ghost there since I've been @ 12. My sister has also seen the ghost. I think there are good spirits and bad spirits/demons. That's just my opinion on what I think they are. But they are real, I have seen them.

Since the scriptures say that when you die, you are conscience of nothing at all, you can not be aware of what anyone living is doing.
Let alone help or harm them.

No I do not the way you think about them .As real as god is so is Satan and Satan will do anything to confuse us people. Satan does not want people to go to heaven so he is trying really hard for us to see things there are not real. Do you know where Satan comes from ? Let me tell you , he was Gods most beautiful and powerfull angel he has ever created , but when Satan rose against Jesus in heaven ( he was jealous of Jesus and wanted to be like him) god kicked him out of heaven. When Satan left heaven he took one third of the angels with him ( the bible calls those Angels the fallen Angels) What do you think those fallen Angels are ? Yes , they are Satan's or you can say the devils demons and I hate to tell you but they are - beeing kicked out of heaven- here on earth doing the work of the devil, trying to break up marriages , getting people deep in to Alcoholism , drugs and oh boy so many other things I could list and oh yes scare people was that not your Question ? Well , I care about you so let me ask you one last Question : Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior ( meaning he died on the cross for your sins / John 3 .16) if you have do not worry about about demons or the devil because as a believer you do not have to worry god will protect you he is and always will be stronger then the devil, once you accepted Jesus the devil can still tempt you with evil things but he can,t have and can't get in to your mind you are god's Child and you will go to heaven one day !! But if you have not accepted jesus as your personal Savior , please get a bible read the things up I told you about and get saved as soon as possible !! As real as heaven is so is hell.
