My wifes a hindu and in their style of hinduism ,if my wifes younger sister turns 30 and still single, I have to marry her aswell .
Their are a couple of cases of this in the family and it worked out OK ,
All 3 of us live in the same house in malaysia and get on really well. Im ok with it and the others are aswell .
Any ideas on this?

Well if you aren't Hindu, why would you have to marry according to their customs? But if you're okay with it, I don't understand why you're even asking a bunch of strangers for advice on it. I would think that if a religion had customs such as these, it might as well have pre arranged marriages and save everyone a lot of trouble. I mean what's the difference if you aren't going to have a choice regarding who you marry? And if you aren't the same religion as your wife, what does your religion say about this situation? In my religion it would not be allowed, so I'm curious....

I think thats wrong, to be married to your wife then marry her little sister.
You shouldnt have to do that, but Im thinking that you want to marry her sister too, you dont seem like you are regreating it.

TAlk about been a lucky guy, hey just think if one has a headache you go with the other one. And well have 3 somes alot. MAn your just got luckier than lots of guys just trying to get one woman you hvae two of them to do whatever you please with thtem.

If you're Ok with it........Then Congrats on your upcoming marriage to your wifes sister. I've never heard of being married and being able to marry again while still being married.....i know some cultures have pre arranged marriages, but if you're already married that doesn't make sense. But like you said....Everyone is Ok with it including you........One big happy family*

I CAN RECALL OF AN INSTANCE IN THE BIBLE WHERE THIS HAPPENED!! JACOB, RACHEL, AND LEAH!!
JACOB JUST WANTED 2 MARRY RACHEL, BUT INSTEAD HE WAS UNKNOWINGLY MARRIED TO LEAH (WHO WAS THE OLDER OF THE TWO) AFTER THE MARRIAGE, JACOB WAS FURIOUS W/ HIS FATHER-N-LAW....NOTHING COULD BE DONE HOWEVER, JACOB WAS GIVEN RACHEL TO WIFE AS WELL...BUT THAT WASNT THE LAST OF JACOB'S PROBLEMS!! RACHEL WAS THE ONE THAT HE LOVED!! LEAH WAS DESPISED (ALTHOUGH SHE GAVE HIM MANY SONS) LEAH AND RACHEL FOUGHT OVER JACOB'S ATTENTIONS!!
