Last night i met up with some old friends and I got pretty drunk (more than I usually do). Today I have been feeling light headed and having this feeling that i'm going to faint. I also get this numb/weak sensation sometimes in my legs/arms. I have been drinking a lot of water. Could this be serious? Usually when I have a hangover I get a headache and nausea but today i feel like my whole body/system is out of whack. Any ideas/suggestions?

What you are going through sounds like is the DT's (delirium tremen) which is basically Alcohol withdrawal. You are alive (maybe not wanting to be) so this time it isn't serious. A good 24 hour recovery should do. Tomorrow you should be back to your normal self. I have experienced the same and thought I was going crazy. Keep drinking water and don't forget to eat.

Your body is just going through a temporary withdrawl from the alchohol. Believe me, I know the feeling only too well. I used to be a big heavy drinker. Sometimes it takes until the second day to feel yourself. Try to get as much sleep as you can. Drinking water just dilutes the alcohol that's already in your system.

V-8 juice with some aspirin is sweet. also a B-complicated nutrition, or better yet, a talblespoon of Brewer's Yeast in with the V-8. quite to V-8, positioned a splash of salt right into a pitcher of orange juice. both O.J. and V-8 are intense in potassium, and your body also desires somewhat salt.

Job one....remember this feeling and don't do the idotic drunk think again.

You need vitamins B6, 12, C, D, and E.

Chicken broth or soup would help.

The out of whack feeling is your body telling you it cannot handle your frivolities.

Eat plenty and get some sleep. Heavy drinking takes it out of you.
