I'm glad to see that you are at least seeking information about this trip before you take it, you are smart to do that. There are many types of acid/lsd. In the 60's, there was a lot of windowpane and microdot. I did it quite often and I can say I only had a couple bad trips. Went to Alice Coopers concert and witnessed a stabbing, then the guy I was with drove like a maniac on the way home just to scare me to death. Not a good feeling at all. With the way drugs are made now, I wouldn't even try it if I were you. You just don't know what is going to happen, one friend was trippin' and got a phone call that his mother had been in a car accident and died, he ended up in a mental hospital. He has never been the same. If you are determined to try it, try a very, very small amount. Its just not worth it, I never had flashbacks, but I sure lost a lot of good memories from this drug.

How long it lasts depends on how much you took and how strong it is. A trip can last anywhere from 8 hours to 2 days. I have a friend who took alot back in the 80's and has never had a flashback. The major risk factors are not knowing what's fake and what's real.

Flashbacks don't happen just because you take a trip. They either do or don't, there is no way of telling whether you will have a flashback. It may well depend on how much and how often you take.
A risk is making a tit of yourself, which isn't the worst thing in the world.
You could of course have a bad trip, which would mean you were stuck in a nasty situation until its effect ran out.

So basically, try it if you really want, but make sure you are in the right frame of mind. (It is illegal though

Acid lasts 10-13 hours and cause severe problems ...My brother has been diagnosed with Schizophrenia because he just never came out of an acid trip one day. Acid flash backs can occur up to 7 years after taking the acid. ACID IS RAT POISON and can kill you...Not to mention screw your head up more than you will ever know

How long it lasts depends upon how much you take. The main hallucanigenic effects are usually gon within a day. The flashbacks can last the rest of your life - especially if you have a bad experience. I have a friend who you can set off my just saying "help me" and it has been twenty years, he took a minimal dose and his experience was fairly short (just a few hours). This is a very dangerous drug and it can turn you into a permanent paranoid schizoprenic. Avoid this drug please!
Even though I know it is tempting, I am tempted myself, but the possible bad results are not worth the trip.
Muschrooms are safer but still very dangerous

the thing is that you run or already ran the risk of damage when you highjack your natural chemicals in your brain and heres a huge cationary note that you may not find in wikepedia and that is if you get ahold of some shoddy concoction you are at serious risk and what seemed like fun can be life altering. do yourself this: go to a health store and flush out your system if you already used the acid and if you havnt , please reconsider the damage as unworthy of every good contribution you have yet to bring into the world. please take good care you are worth it to not destroy yourself like that- dont be fooled into living on the edge- it suks and rips you apart when your not looking. i know, im in recovery.

I THINK (not having seen the site) that the said it was a BAD idea.
My brother tried it back in the 60's and was sick as a dog; flashbacks included a brick wall appearing when he was driving his car. Is that enough for you?
