I don't believe I do, but many others seem to think so.

No, but then the perceptions of the reader, despite the intent usually plays a huge part in whether something is "offensive" or not. I can write facts that have empirical evidence to back them up out the wazoo and some people would still be offended. I try to be as kind as I can and to the point in my replies. Where clarification is necessary I always enjoy doing so and my intent is never to be of anything less than beneficial.

No. Sometimes the answer offends. We have to be very careful of that. Sometimes the answerer offends unwittingly and sometimes willfully. I, personally, don't want to offend unless I think the person means offense when asking the question. Then I sometimes get offensive. Maybe I shouldn't say anything if I can't say something good but some people seem to be asking for it by being offensive in their asking.

Nope. But offense is point of view subject. Though I do call offensive suggesting the beastiality is the same thing as homosexual love between two human consenting adults. THAT is offensive.
But maybe its just me.
