Other than what everyone else has said I find that changing my shoes often helps (2 times during an 8 hour shift). Also really good shoes help a lot! Recently I have discovered those shoes that the nurses and doctors wear. I believe one brand is Crocks (sp?). Anyway, other than Earthshoes they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and my heel spurs don't seem to bother me as much. Surgery, cortisone and staying off your feet as much as possibly are the only other alternatives that I know of.
