There is nothing wrong with an older female dating a younger man. The concept that a man should be older than a woman I think comes from the social thinking that a man should be and is superior to a woman in all aspects being either personal or physical.

Its the same both ways around, my ex was a freshman while i was a junior. Its just that people are used to the idea that were supposed to be with the ones of our own age. As of where it came from it has always been back in the 1000's to the 1800's older men have always married younger women. It shouldn't matter though. I Hope your relationship works out.

I don't know anyone who says stuff like that... normally guys get made fun of for going out with younger girls. I graduated and my boyfriend is still in highschool. Everyone thought we were adorable. I don't think it matters on how old the person is... just who the person is that is going out with someone, or who the person is that is going out with the older person.

i think its because guys mature at a younger age. Alot of senior guys and sophmore girls are equally mature...but i dont think so vice versa
