Girl you aare using your brain. That's a question i always asked them but the fact is that their god is so weak, that he can't save anybody.
Between Cain and Abel God favored Abel the most but could not protect him from being murdered by his brother. That's weak security God.
I'm glad some of us are waking up.

Are there not suicide bombers that hope to be martyred?
Jesus, man or god, knew that he would be crucified and planned for it - even took actions in his trial (not speaking in his own defense or begging for mercy) that would lead up to it. Jesus *wanted* to be crucified, whether that meant a forgiveness of sins that need not even exist in the first place or as a demonstration of his own faith and belief that making a change for the better requires one to be willing to give the ultimate in sacrifice.
I DO want to point out, however, that Jesus did not do this to get an insurance policy paid to his family. He did not do this to murder someone he hated. In fact, he took pains to make sure that his friends kept themselves out of it, even suggesting that they deny they knew him. He didn't die hoping to murder as many Romans right along with him as possible. And he was patient. Jesus didn't expect the world to change overnight because of his sacrifice.
People forget these things - both Christian and non-Christian. Or perhaps they just refuse to think things through:
Regardless of Jesus's divinity or lack thereof, his message was clear. Those that control your religion are not God. Either you can contact such a power directly or it does not exist or it is too weak to be the only such one of itself around. If you say that your God is all-powerful, then your mullahs, priests, and ministers are not necessary. You church, synagog, temple, or mosque is not necessary.
Jesus *knew* that such a message would enrage the Roman emperor, who presented himself as a god to be worshipped. Jesus *knew* that such a message would enrage ANY religous leadership, let alone that of the Jews, to say that they did not hold any legitimate power. And Jesus *knew* that he would be executed as any other rebel before him - perhaps even exactly HOW he would be executed because he wasn't the first dissident of the pharisees to be crucified. But he WAS the most popular and influential, so his story became legend and the legend was eventually recorded as best as a see of the Roman empire could remember.
Could it have all been total crap? Sure. But there is *some* truth to the story - the sort of truth that actually makes a difference regardless of what you say your religion may be. You want proof? Ever heard of Martin Luther King, Jr.?

Jesus could have easily saved himself from being crucified but he chose not to cos if he had then we would not be saved. He brought other people back to life and cured people so it stands to reason that he could have saved himself. The reason why we aren't all going to heaven is because jesus died to give us a way to go to heaven but to go we need to admit that we do stuff wrong and ask for forgiveness from God and want to live for him and not everyone in the world has done that.

Jesus died on the cross in obedience to the will of God. This was set down before time. It was tough for him to do it because of his humanity.
God made the rules and everyone has to follow them, even Him. He allowed us to have the opportunity to believe in Him and follow His rules, or not. Those who do not will suffer separation from Him (hell).
We all sin, all of us. According to Gods rules, there has to be a blood sacrifice for the remission of those sins. That's why in the Old Testament times, the priests would sacrifice animals, brought by the people yearly, and use the blood at the "Mercy Seat" to cover the sins of the people til the next year when the process would be repeated. Jesus, being Gods son - the ultimate sacrificial Lamb, had to live a sinless life so he would be the perfect sacrifice - once and for all - for all of our sins.

First of all great question- I am sensing you really want truthful answers. Yes, you are right- Jesus could have saved Himself from the death on the Cross, because He is God, and also had 1,000's of angels that He could have called to help- however it was His choice to suffer and die for our sins so that we could live forever. He did pay for our sins, so that when we die we would be able to enter heaven and live eternally with Him- He died and rose so that we can do that- He died for our sin, so that we can go to heaven, but that is not the only reason- He died so that we can no longer live here on earth in our sin- but also live free from sin here, and be able to please Him. That would be impossible in our own strength, "We have been crucified with Christ".Hope that
this helps a bit..

He was a Genius! Check this out, I have this from no other source than what is between my own two ears:
What is and was always the most powerful ostacle for people to DO finally anything about any wrong situation they were in?
Some things from the "outside", from the world around, or something on the inside?
Yes, from the inside. That little doubt. What if I do it? What about IF my solution is wrong? Or what if it's the best way it could be done but it includes the suffering of some people for some time, even if it's less suffering than they would have without my solution?
The biggest obstacle in LIVING our life is always if we can't take the responsibility for our actions.
So... What did He do?
He said: Look, I take the responsibility. Live your life. Live it as good as you can imagine to be. Live it FULL, as you wish. Be yourself!
He *knew* us. I don't care to interpret his connection with God. We are talking about Jesus, not God.
Let him be anything from Bob Joe to THE Son of God - He was a true genius.
He knew that if he wants to make better the life of MASSES of people, he has to make an example.
He knew that he has to live a life that will be remembered. And he did it. He took the responsibility.
I don't speak about how was his message misused.
We only speak about the message, not what happened to it.
The most important is, that some people do get the message, even now, 2000 years later, and will get it in twice the time, too.
I guess, you get it. Try to live your life, like He lived his life. Make an example. Send out your message. Do what you think is the right thing to do.
And this comes to your last question. Why are we still here? Well, can you think of a better place to express yourself? Would we need to try to solve anything "in heaven"? This is a perfect place to get to know ourselves - by confronting ourselves to a bunch of issues every day, every minute.
This is a perfect place to LIVE, as long as we want to know more about ourselves and to evolve more near to "our most perfect vision of ourselves", since life is exactly doing this.
And when we have enough, we go back to God. Any time. We are welcome. He loves us for our true selves.
Hey, anyway, you write about paying for our sins. The idea with the "sins" comes from people, not from God.
He doesn't have to forgive us anything. Know why?
Well, how can you hurt God?
He has averything and He IS everything. So, He doesn't need anything.
Can you hurt him? No way.
So why would he need to "forgive" for something?
The whole idea of sins IS wrong. It's manipulation. It comes from people who create organized religions - to control other people.
God would never say that to do a certain thing is always wrong (or good). To do anything is good at a time when it brings you closer to "who you really are" or "who you desire to be" and the same action is wrong at another time, when you step with it further from your fullest vision of yourself.
It's not good or bad. You just help yourself with it or you create another obstacle for yourself.

No offense taken. I can see that you are Muslim based on the wording of your question, and I might add that I appreciate the question.
In Matthew 26:52-54 Jesus is being taken captive by the Roman guard and he is repremanding Simon Peter for pulling a sword to defend himself. His quote in verse 53 shows that he could have saved himself should he have desired.
52"Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. 53Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? 54But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"
There were dozens upon dozens of prophecies and several that describe his way of death being crucifixion. He asked God in a previous passage that if there were any other way possible, that it would be allowed. (Matthew 26:39)
39: Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
There is a lot more to explain regarding why his sacrifice required a blood sacrifice based on the rituals and the commandments God had originally given the Israelites. I would be happy to provide further explanations behind this or direct you to some accurate information.
As for paying for our sins... and packing up and heading to heaven... God has required to allow us to make a decision as to accept his Son's sacrifice. Just because you sinned prior to Christ's entry into history, you might continue to reject God anyway. You wouldn't seek repentance for breaking God's laws. In like, we have the choice to make: accept Christ's sacrifice on the cross as our atoning and permanent sacrifice for when we face God, or reject the free gift that God has given to us and live our lives the way we want to live them.
If he packed us all up and shipped us to heaven, there would be many who would refuse to be there. (Just look at Lucifer (aka Satan) - he wanted to be God there. There are many on the Earth who would have similar desires. Hence the free choice and free gift from God.

Jesus' death was inevitable, he knew if he really wanted to save himself from an earthly death he could. He even prays to God about it in Matthew 26:39 saying..."My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering (the impending crucifixion) be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done not mine." He died physically so that we may have eternal "spiritual" life, in heaven.
As far as him paying for our sins, he did with Hid blood up on that Cross. In order to receive that payment there are things we must first do in order to receive God's grace. Romans 10:8-10; 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
The entire book of Romans explains in much more detail more than just these few passages.
Hope that explains even just a little!

Jesus could have saved himself. He chose to do God's will and suffer for every sin that has ever been or ever will be committed. This was the only way any of us could be saved. The reason we are not in Heaven yet because we are here to do God's will for our lives.

The thing is, he could have saved himself, he endured that awful death so we didn't have to. The second question is a hard one, here, let me try this way, let's say someone bought you a present, you can except it or throw it away. God has a deadline for when he's coming back, it's our choice to follow till the end and learn patience or throw away God's gift and lose the most precious thing you'll ever own.

God bless all of us and give us the inspiration to discover the truth .
