Most of the cheeses will last about 2 to 3 weeks after teh expiration date, No longer than that. But you should be alright as long as you use it to cook with a dish.

Yes, definitely. Expiration dates are a symptom of the nanny state. As long as it isn't slimy and encrusted with mould it will be fine. It has been around, like most cheeses, for centuries prior to artificial refridgeration. We are all too cautious !

It can make you sick, sorry go buy some more.I seen on the news once that you shouldn't eat food that is past its expiration date, that has been in your refrigerator for a while.

Lots of cheese is good past it's expiration. I knew someone who was friends with someone who owned her own cheese shop. He would give me lots of cheese, it's aged cheese, it might be little bit more bitter, but it's still good. Yeah, as long as there is no slime.
