It really doesn't make any difference if you buy it now or later because hdtv prices is going down like every new technology. The only thing you need to decide is that do you want to watch the Super Bowl on a HDTV now or you're going to wait until college football season start ?

Sad to say (or good depending on how you look at it) prices these days keep plummeting not just because of the SuperBowl... We bought our plasma TV early just to find it half the price a year later, so decide when you want it and bite the bullet and dive in, I guess...

Well, prices certainly aren't going to go up after the Superbowl...so unless you want the TV for the big game, I would suggest holding off.

It won't go down by a lot, but it will slowly go down. That's just the way it is with technology. As raw materials get cheaper and cheaper, the product gets cheaper and cheaper.
