My fiance chose Ranunculus in white for his boutineer. The site below has a picture of it. But it is in yellow. It is the 3rd picture down on the right of the screen.

Your boutonniere should compliment your partners flowers and your attire. There really aren't any "manly" flowers but go to alanasinbloom.com for some ideas.

Mini carns are nice for guys. Also, stephanotis (hope I came close in spelling) is a white spray of flower LOTS of men use.

Roses are pretty universal - classic and not too frilly, and they come in a variety of colors.
