Is it okay when trying to house train a 6 month old puppy....?

to take away its food and water at a certain time to try to put her on a eating schedule to regulate her pooping and peeing to keep her from going in the house.

absolutely - it is essential. Be sensible about it though and never deprive her of water for too long.

Most definitely - however, if its summer where you are, be careful removing her water as she may get dehydrated quickly
