how do you get a boy that likes you not to be a dork?

there is this boys that likes me and um..... he asked me out .but i don't like him. So he asked me to his birthday party.So i called him that night and when he answered he atmited he liked me.So i hung up. the phone.the next day i wrote him a note saying i may go if he stops buggigng me about it .he is fine so what should do??? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well maby at school you should kind of let people see you talk to him and maby some of your guy friend will start to hang out with him
