Not a CHANCE! If they want to eat around them that's fine with me and if not they can be hungry till the next meal. Life's tough out west!

Heck yeah I do. All day long if I have to. I have 1 picky child and 1 extremely flexible child. Older child will eat it with or without crust, but the baby (7 y/o baby) is rotten and wont have his sandwich any other way. He wants sandwich with crust removed, he gets it. The older child gets spoiled in other ways. It shows that I actually care about their needs and wants.

don't have kids...but if I had I would only cut the crust off for two reasons...1. IF he or she didn't like it or 2. if it was not healthy...

Never did, never will. If they want the crust off, they can pull it off by themselves. Otherwise, they can eat the whole sandwich.

Only when they were much younger (under 6). After that, if they dont want to crust, they eat around it.

no. I am in charge of what my child eats. Not them. Why give them that choice? Make them try everything you put in front of them. You choose what they eat. They choose how much. But the important thing is that you make them try. My daughter's teenage friends are very picky eaters. When they come over to spend the night or for dinner. I tell them to eat what is put in front of you. None of them are welcomed to eat with us anymore. I do not want my child to learn these bad talble manners. I just told their parents to feed their children before dropping them off. They are all two parent working households that eat alot of fastfood junk. (good for once in awhile but not everyday) I like to cook homemade meals. Anything tacobell, Mcdonald's, or kfc can put out I can do better, tastier, and healthier. My kids brag aboutheir "fastfood" making mommy. My youngest is 15 and his friends love to come over for dinner all the time. Interestingly enough it has only been my girl's friends that are the picky ones. I was told the other day by one of them, that I am the only one who stills bakes cookies, pies and her favorite cakes. Make your child try everything. Even things you may not like yourself. My friend has a kid. The mom doesn't like veggies, so never gave then to her kid. When the kid went to 1st grade and ate the school lunch, her comment was (about the veggies) why don't we have these at home mommy I like them.

I did once because i myself hate the crust.
But then i realized, her taste isn't like mine (can't be, she likes spinach yuck) so she has the crust and loves it.

nope...but they are most welcome to nibble up to the crust and stop if they don't want to eat it. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. It saves me from having to do it, and it saves them from being picky little dictators if they are over at someone else's house for lunch.
