Well, that's how we humans are, we can learn from books, the internet, health education in schools, and from friends & family members too.... not only from experience. I'm female but I've answered questions about men's health or illnesses I haven't personally had but people I know suffered from.

What does it really matter if its a guy or a girl? My gf knows lots of things about men's health, for example
The only piece of anatomy you need in order to know the answer to a question is a brain :)

When they provide a legitimate answer, I think it's kind of sweet. But when they just post something in order to get two points, or provide a tacky, tasteless answer, then I wish those guys would move on to another category.

I must say I once answered a men's health question that I thought I was answering correctly and I was told to butt out....he said I didn't have a clue....LOL

I wouldn't qualify it as cute. They are probably just trying to help in the best way they possibly can. And some guys who answer those questions.... are just pervs.
