One of the pillars of a good relationship is having good communications. If your boyfriend is steadfast in not improving this part of your relationship, then your relationship will get into trouble.
I'll be frank to say that women need attention in a relationship. If a woman does not get the attention she needs, the she will eventually find it elsewhere. If your boyfriend is communicating to you by other means, then perhaps he just doesn't like to use the phone. Then again, what kind of a relationship do you have if he won't go out of the way to make a call just to say hello?
Tell him to quit being a knucklehead and call you more often or you move on...

Take his words EXACTLY how he stated them. He doesnt want to change. Therefore you have 2 options:
1. deal with it and learn to live with it
or
2. Leave and find some one that will call you more often and be more attentive to you.
He is right....women always want to fix a man or change him. That is a huge issue with women today. A man only loves a woman that accepts him for who he is. If you dont like who he is, then find some one else!

really, if a boyfriend doesn't call much, ussually it doesn't mean anything, and if he never called often then really you can't expect him to call all the time, guys don't like a lot of change, and he's probally confused about why he would have to change something like how often he calls, because to guys a phone call isn't a big deal, but to a girl a phone call can mean the world!

My ex-boyfriend didn't call in the beginning of our relationship, or he called when it suited him. I later found out he was playing me and his ex-wife, i'm not saying that is the case with your bf....just be cautious and not nieve. Take care

just dump this loser. he's the type of guy who likes everything his way and always wants to be in control of everything. he's not changing for the bad if he calls you. either tell him that or just get over this guy.

If he doesn't call you, he doesn't want to talk to you. If he doesn't want to talk to you, he's not worth talking to. Dump him and find someone who wants to be in your life.
