I have been with my boyfriend for 2 and half years and we are living together and I want him to ask me and I know he will but when. I'm going to wait for as long as it takes. Just wanted some input on when the right time could be.

"Popping the question" is obviously a big moment in anyone's life. Everyone of my married friends, including myself, had approached this moment quite differently. I knew my wife ws the one the moment I kissed her for the first time, and I proposed to her every day until we were married.
Perhaps you and your boyfriend can talk more openly and more often about marriage, which will relieve the pressure off of him because he will know what your answer will be. Talking about it will also give you comfort that the day when he asks the question wil come.
