i recieved an email that i won the uk lottery but how can i make sure it is authentic before i pay the courier service?

It's fake. Did you even enter a lottery? No lottery requires a service fee.

it's all a scam - i got the same/similar email from a uk lottery foundation/project (can't remember exactly) telling me that i had just won $3,000,000 (after conversion to CDN funds) but you needed to pay a courier fee - try googling this and you will find that lots of people have been affected by this scam

all lotteries on line are scams,,check with your local lottery and ask the police dept
