Anyone know of any good tips on keeping warm (for my Raynaud's) or for giving my aching joints, (especially my painful hands and feet) a bit of relief? I am 28. I don't sleep well at night because of my diseases, (I wake up constantly eventhough I can go back to sleep). Any one have good ideas? Thanks everybody! =)

A good pain relieving gel to try is BioFreeze. Its over the counter and deep penetrating. It has natural methol, so you will get a natural cooling sensation. This gel really helps with the fibromyalgia. For Raynaud's its important you keep your hands and fingers moving during the day. Simple exercises such as bending your fingers and spreading them back out and bending your wrist back and forth or side to side helps keep steady blood flow to the area.

I was just reading that the deficiency of certain vitamins can cause fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome. Have her take a really good vitamin supplement after breakfast or lunch. Ask her to eat a good balanced diet also.
Fibromyalgia is a recently recognoized disorder that is a common cause of muscoloskeletal pain and fatigue. The symptons include generalized fatigue, chronic headache and sleep disturbance. Magnesium deficiency within the muscle cell may be a factor in the cdevelopment of FibroM. 300 to 600 mg of Magnesium will help.
Aslo three clinical studies show that SAM helped significantly in patients suffering from fFibroM. Two hundred to 400 mg of SAM twice a day is recommended.
All the vitamins should be eaten with a meal since glucose and amino acid molecules are needed for the transportaion. glucose are the product of carbs and amino acids are the building blocks of protein.
This will help other syndromes also since these seems to be related. This answer I posted for other asker so I copied for u too since same question.

You know what, that sounds exactly like what my mother has. But my question is...have you ever been checked for Celiac Disease. That is the disease that causes ALL the diseases you have...it is such a underheard disease that so many don't know they have it. But seriously if you were to get checked for Celiac and you are positive all those problems will be answered. I promise you! Research it!!!

Massage is also amazing for these symptoms. And non-medicinal, so will not affect meds you are taking.
