Mine don't swell, but they get itchy. I believe it is a sign of poor circulation.

You may want to bring it up to your doctor the next time you have a check-up appointment. Oftentimes, the symptom itself is nothing more than a bother and you just have to frequently move around and reposition your limbs a lot to help circulation. However, poor circulation in your lower legs and feet can be one sign of diabetes, so it is worth mentioning to your doctor.

I've never had my legs swell, but if you've been walking a lot--which involves swinging your arms--your hands often swell because the blood's rushing into them.

Do you have congestive heart problems? Are you a diabetic? Are you overweight? I have to understand why your lymphatic system, which is a pipeling with valves that are supposed to release fluids through your circulatory system are closing and not opening properly.

It's got to be that you have an auto immune disease of some sort to begin with.

Eat less salt. Salt clogs your blood streams and it is harder for the blood to move. The blood stays at the end of your limbs longer because it is harder for the blood to move up against gravity than to go down with gravity. To fix it, put your hands and feet up.
