Stop loathing. It is the best payback to that person and to you, since in loathing you re still maintaining a relationship, albeit a negative one and losing energy which you can use for a better purpose.

Okay. There are two different suggestions I have:
1) There is a book called "Spite, Malice and Revenge" by George Hayduke. In it are several different suggestions for revenge tactics. However, most are illegal, so you'd have to be very careful with them.
2) "The Satanic Bible" by Anton LaVey provides a ritual that curses the person you want cursed. Whether it works or not, it does provide a stress release for the person performing the ritual.

Forgiveness is the best payback. Imagine, someone thinking you hate them, and you forgive them. Not only do they learn a lesson in forgiveness, but you no longer have hatered in your heart.

I've always believed that the greatest payback is living your life better without them than with them. Then when they want you back... don't give them the time of day.

Payback takes way too much energy. If you can't be nice, just don't pay them as much attention and spend your energy elsewhere.

so someone did you wrong. grow up. get over it.
Look I've had people go from best friend to worst enemy.
If you do something bad to them, it shows you're not better than them but actually lower than them to stoop to a level of payback.

I don't think you sound like the greatest person yourself. Revenge is never the best thing. If I don't care for someone, I just stay away from them. Nothing less, nothing more.
