i'm happily married. however, i like to look at my ex boyfriend's profile and his new girlsfriend's profile on myspace. is that normal?

To an extent. I am happily married (8 years now), but I sometimes wonder what my ex fiance is up to these days. I haven't seen him or talked to him for 12 years, but if I knew he had a myspace page, I may view it once or twice to see what he's done with his life. But I wouldn't want to visit it more than that. If you are, you need to stop and forget he has a myspace page. You don't really want to obsess over the past. You need to focus more on your present and future.

You Say...you're happily married.....so you may just be "curious"as to what he's up to and who he's with...but why would you care? Would you want your husband checking out an ex's profile on myspace?? I don't think so* you may not be going crazy...but you may start becoming obsessed* with your ex..and his comments left on myspace etc..which will lead you to mssging him...to see if he resonds...So you're walking a crazy line right now and you need to take 2 steps backwards and remember You Are Happily Married*~
Do you regret breaking up with your ex boyfriend? Do you wish you married him instead?? If you answered yes..you're not so much happily married* if you answered No*....then ask yourself Why are you wanting to check out what your ex boyfriend is doing and who he's with*????? And WHY do You Care???

hmmmmmmm I think you are the only one who can really answer that question. You say you are happily married. If so why would you wonder what your ex was doing? To me thats not normal for someone who is happily married.

Why would you want to be "normal", just be yourself and kick the hell out of anyone who would want you to feel miserable just because you are who you are.
I find judgemental people and controlling people to be the ones who are crazy and not normal, those are the ones who should be locked up.

Well I guess you are curious, however if it becomes an obsession... I'd delete the account you have. You are married, have someone who loves you...so no need to dwell on some bastard from the past.

it depends.... if you look at them every once in a while to check up on them its fine... but if you look multiple times a day, and stalk their conversations and events.. then it gets obsessive that is bad. You need to make sure that this doesn't get in the way of your relationship with your husband. if you can't control how often you look i woudl suggest finding a therapist

yes, its normal.
i'm not married, but with someone else.. and i do the same thing.
once you loved a person, they will forever be part of you.. it doesn't have to mean you still love them.
