i'm trying to get out of a relationship because i lost all trust in him i have no faith. we have been together for five yrs. sometimes i want to give him another chance other times i just want him to leave me alone. i have told him but he's just not hearing me.what should i do. confused!

You have to be perfectly 100% clear that it is over. Stop answering his calls & emails, and if he continues to harass you then get a restraining order.
Obviously you are NOT 100% clear on this and that is why he's not hearing you, because you're not even being honest with yourself. Start there.

Whatever you do, do not write a letter. It is best to tell them in person. Break it to him slowly. Make sure he understands why you are breaking up with him because you do not want this break up to get messy. It might hurt him, but he then may realize that it was for the best. Just hope that he understands. Let him know that you are not trying to hurt him and that you just think it is time for the relationship to come to an end. Oh yeah, and don't forget to talk about all the fun times you guys have had in the relationship. Good luck!
