It may have. Usually if that type of thing happens, they do it right away. Like you actuall scared the piss out of them. She may have been mad at you for yelling at her and that's why she did it.

Yes it is possible that your yelling caused your dog to pee.
Usually they go right after you yell or during when you yell.
Be careful with this...don't let it develop into a habit.
Seek assistance in training your dog from an animal behaviorist for both the cat chasing and the accidents...and then you won't need to yell at the dog anymore. Win-win!!!
Good luck.

You people need to get a life!!!! Just because you yell at your dog because he chased a cat is no reason to say this guy is mean or that you reported him to the humane society. It's not like he beat the dog just yelled. I hate people like you guys!! You actually bring a bad name to dog owners, do you yell at your kids!! Oh my God I will call child services!!
Anyway man I doubt she peed just because you yelled at her 2 hours later. She probably just needed to go really bad. Don't sweat it and don't listen to the jerks!!
Have a good day.

ur dog got scared and probably didn't come near u for ahile and went to hide and later she had to go to the bathroom and she didn't come by u to let u know that she had to go outside. so she could've been scared or nervous. it usually happens when the dog freaks out about being by the owner after u yelled at her. it shouldn't be nothing to worry about
i have a dog and he gets the same way when he will chew up the garbage and when mom yelled at him he went to the bathroom right in fron't of her.
so u shouldn't worry about it too much just try not to yell at her that much anymore!

No, maybe if she had an accident while you were yelling at her I would say it was a fear urination, but no I just think it was an accident. What people don't know about dogs is that they do not do things to spite you.

in my experience the answer is yes, animals read your behavior and actions loud and clear I noticed when my husband and I were yelling at each other (through the house not in a fight) that our oldest lab would take off to her crate because she didn't want to be in the middle of it, not knowing that it was just yelling so the other could hear all she knew was that we were yelling...but to your question I believe that all four dogs that we have had have had an accident out of fear from them being yelled at or out of fear in general, most dogs want to please you, you are not mean to yell at your dog, our dogs know what "bad dog" means in that tone or pitch, but reward them with "good dog" in a good tone too, they will do their best to be good, hope that helps

She was probably mad at you. She doesn't know how to make prank phone calls so she messed on the floor instead. If you had frightened her, she would have done it at the time. I think she was getting even the only way she could. Wait till you come home and find the cat tied up!! I bet you will yell at her again!
Wait a minute! Linda...your husband pooped on the floor when you yelled at him! Yikes!

You should not yell at your animals, they take things as we do, and can get upset as easily as a human being, when you are upset at something, you should walk away, think why you are upset and how would yelling change it, the dog will not necessarily understand anything other than you are mad, probably not why?
So take a breather, assess the situation, and how it can better be handled.

It probably wasn't the yelling.. she probably just had to go, because dogs don't remember when you get on to them.. Atleast if it was just yelling.. Now, if a dog is beaten, then they will remember.. but it's okay.. it was just an accident

It's very possible especially if it's not common for her to do so. Dogs react to yelling differently than we do. They don't understand what you're saying, but they feel your anger which causes anxiety. They don't want their mom mad at them, lol. She was probably nervous about the whole thing.

Yes, it is very possible for this to happen. If you don't ever yell at her and then you surprised her by doing it one way you may have confused her. My dog pees when she is very excited or when she thinks she is in trouble. It's caused by stress. So yes this may be why the dog peed.
