Copy and paste is very handy. It saves a lot of time typing or retyping.
If there is any text you want to copy and put somewhere else, do this:
Select the text (highlight it)
Hold down the control key on your keyboard and the c (key)
Move to the area where you wish to put the text
put your cursor there
Hold down the control key and the v (key)
: Ctrl C (copy)
: Ctrl V (paste)

This is referred to as a keyboard shortcut.
There are many of them.
This link is to the Microsoft website and a long list of other keyboard shortcuts you can learn and use:

NB: There is always an option for copy and paste on tool bars too.
Usually under the Edit (drop down) menu.
However, I find keyboard shortcuts faster.

Highlight a line of text you wish to copy to another page. Right click on the mouse. Left click the word Copy.
Go to the other page you want to insert the text onto.
Put the cursor where you want the text.
Right click the mouse.
Left click the word Paste.
The text from the other website/page/document will now appear on the new page.

You can also use ctrl-C for copy and ctrl-V for paste. Just do the same thing: highlight text, copy, go to where you want it, paste.
