the logical answer to the question you ask would be the word "the", the obviousness of the answer i propose is in the question you ask... oh and just some additional info: "ok" is THE most international used word in the world... there's a band called "THE the" too, they got great value out of the word "the"... Listening to the teenager talking in the restaurant i was in the other day you'd swear the most common word in the English language is "like".
like he like said like about like 43 times in like 3 minutes. Like i know, i like counted.

Most common word in the English language could be easier to recognize if it has short word. That’s my opinion.
