You meen teen right? Well I am 15, and I don't have a specific rate, but you should ask him or her if they have one. You should also consider things like if the child is potty trainning and other tasks involved with watching a two year old. I used to have a set rate of apx 2-5 dollars an hour no matter what age the child was.

We rarely use a babysitter other than family. However, our 14 year old neighbor does babysit our 2 year old from time to time (with her mom close by). We pay our babysitter about $10.00 an hour. However, I don't think she has ever watched him for more than 2 hours at a time. If you have a regular schedule you may want to set up a per night or per week payment.

a tenn babysitter? not sure I get you on that, but my hubby and I pay our sitter $5 an hour for 2 kids, 2 yr and 4 yr. She normally charges $3.

I pay my sitter for my 2 year old $3 and I always round up to the closest $5 increment, a tip of sorts.

I would say about five dollars an hour and add a dollar on per hour per child.
Of course the babysitter would have to be certified. Good Luck!

i don't think it should be by the hour. i babysat two kids...for 4 hours and i was paid 20 bucks.
jus tpay them reasonable. if the 2 year old is sleeping, then of course pay them less...but if you have to watch them and feed them, and play with them (which i know a babysitter should do) pay them more.

I never got paid by the hour when I was quite a bit younger and used to babysit. They used to just hand me a 20. But I was also about 12, so I didn't know any better.

A Tennessee 2 year old? You don't have that kind of money.
